Fully automatic production of mince in a continuous process and complying with the most stringent hygiene requirements with Handtmann portioning accuracy. Mince, a sensitive product, is efficiently evacuated in the vacuum filling machine for substantially reducing the residual air content in the end product. The excellent result of this is a far longer shelf life. The coarsely pre-ground product does not achieve its final granularity until it passes through the Handtmann vacuum filling machine and the GD 93-3 grinding attachment – just before it is packed. An appealing product presentation and reliable colour stability (reddening) is thus is ensured. If an automatic feed system to the packing unit is connected to the GMD 99-2, this allows production without manual contact. Maximum hygiene by eliminating the risk of contamination!
